Great weekend. Blessed to be there. God gives his children strength, opportunities, and joy just because we know His Son. Because of nothing we’ve done or achieved. Ruhmember that.
I had something great over the weekend, and thought I’d try to describe it, while staying true to my mind’s ennoia.
stomach growls.
they start serving the meals.
aroma fills the hall each day. the
Cook’s awesome with skillet and grill.
considering all the dishes that have been prepared,
He never fails to impress.
the meat’s not chicken,
nor seafood; not that style.
it can be a little tough,
but tender and
sweet the way
He prepares it,
garnished with a sprig of
mint.
something green adds pizzazz.
black pepper and cayenne
might bring tears,
yet they please the palette.
lemon butter shines.
but hunger
doesn’t mean lunchtime.
